聚餐邊聊天邊吃飯「食量暴增44%」!醫曝飲控3重點:保持意識

想要減肥成功、維持身材,飲食控制是一大關鍵,美女家醫科醫師許書華分享國外研究,與他人一起用餐時,食量可能會比獨自吃飯時增加44%,其中女性受影響的情況更明顯;不過她也提醒,這並不代表大家應該避免社交,重點仍在於聚餐時保持覺察,別在聊天中不知不覺吃過量。

聊天分心聚餐容易吃過量

許書華醫師在臉書發文,美國飲食心理學家曾追蹤63名成人的飲食行為,發現人在團體用餐時,攝取量會明顯高於獨自吃飯。研究團隊認為,聚餐時大家容易把注意力放在聊天、互動與氣氛上,較少留意自己吃了多少,也可能跟著同桌親友的進食速度與節奏走,進而忽略身體已經飽足的訊號。

除了共餐情境外,許書華也提到另一項研究,女性進入婚姻後,飲食習慣可能因家庭生活而改變,例如為了配合家人下廚、跟著家人一起吃飯,原本的飲食節奏和份量被打亂,食量比單身時還大。

飲控與社交生活 需取得平衡

不過,這些研究並非要鼓勵大家都獨自用餐。許書華也引用其他研究提醒,長期缺乏社會互動的人,死亡率可能高出26%。換句話說,一個人吃飯或許有助於短期控制份量,但若因此讓自己長期陷入孤獨、缺乏陪伴,對身心健康未必是好事。

許書華認為,真正重要的是,在進食時保有對食物與份量的意識,放慢進食速度、注意飽足感、避免邊聊邊一直夾菜,建立穩定的飲食習慣,才是避免社交場合吃過量的解方。
