心情差「躺平」恐更糟 專家:「坐姿端正」有助重開機

當心情低落時,許多人會想「躺平」放鬆,將自己放空,身體也賴著不動,卻不知這可能找錯解方。最新研究顯示,部分人採「端正坐姿」,其實更能降低負面情緒,甚至可使想法變得正向;專家說,若以往整個人躺下,沒有產生紓壓或充電的效果,可嘗試將身子坐直、抬頭挺胸,也許反而能找到振作的動力。

中山醫學大學心理系副教授田意民說,現代社會生活步調快,不少人沒時間靜下來關注自己的身體狀況,例如感受呼吸、心跳、肌肉緊繃等變化,這種內在觀察又名「內感知覺」,只要多練習,對於紓解壓力會有幫助。

田意民舉例,若對上台發言感覺壓力大,內感知覺有助自己注意到呼吸變淺、肌肉僵硬、胸口緊繃等身體訊號,這時調整呼吸與姿勢,將有助情緒穩定;反之,若不覺察身體訊號,可能就只知自己焦慮、怕搞砸,問題卻難以改善。

為了解身體姿勢和情緒相關性,田意民引進「體現經驗」理論,其認為情緒、壓力及想法,與肢體反應會相互影響,並與團隊進行研究,共納入269名大學生,依體現經驗量表得分,分為高、低2組,在誘發負面情緒後調整姿勢,結果顯示,蜷縮、駝背姿勢較難消除負向思考,而在挺直坐姿下,體現經驗品質較高者,負面思緒降低較多,想法也較正向,但若體現經驗較低,則看不出這樣的效果。

田意民指出,從研究結果可見,體現經驗低者,若姿態又不佳,負面情緒容易增加,但只要體現經驗夠好,「只要坐正,心情就可能變好」。

此外,田意民說,許多人以為縮著、躺著就是放鬆,但大腦若持續思考負面內容,這反而可能形成惡性循環,若能有意識調正姿勢,便可望成為「中斷訊號」,使情緒強度有效下降。

針對體現經驗提升,田意民說,可從日常建立覺察習慣,例如走路中、洗碗時留意身體的移動與內在感覺,或進行正念、瑜伽、「身心中軸覺察」等訓練,長期累積下,將有助建立身心之間的正向連結;最簡單的起步,可找一個端正、舒適的坐姿,並閉上眼、放慢呼吸,好好和身體對話,也許短短幾分鐘便可感覺身心舒緩,這也會比硬要求自己想法正向更容易。
