中元普渡祭品吃不完?小心「腸胃炎」找上你!醫授4守則:祭拜更安心
一年一度的中元普渡即將來臨,家家戶戶忙著準備豐盛的供品祭拜祖先與好兄弟。然而,在這炎熱的夏季,若不妥善保存和攝取供品,可能會引發健康問題。恩主公醫院家庭醫學科主治醫師鄭文琦提醒,民眾在維護傳統信仰的同時,也要注意身體健康。她建議掌握「注意保存、慎選食物、控制份量、適量香火」四大守則,讓中元節更安心。▲ 中元普渡即將來臨,家家戶戶忙著準備豐盛的供品祭拜祖先與好兄弟。(圖/資料圖庫) 注意保存:防止供品變質根據衛福部食藥署的統計,去年食品中毒通報人數達9,045人,創下近五年新高,尤其在夏季高溫潮濕的環境下,細菌更容易滋生。鄭文琦醫師分享了一個案例:一家人在中元節下午拜拜後,晚上直接食用放在室溫超過五、六小時的米粉,結果全家都患上腸胃炎。她提醒,食物在室溫放置超過3小時未冷藏,容易被腸炎弧菌或蠟樣芽孢桿菌污染,導致腹瀉、噁心嘔吐。建議民眾:- 易腐敗的食物要立即冷藏。- 熟食再食用時需加熱至滾燙以殺菌。- 糕點類若當天吃不完,應立即冷凍保存。 慎選食物:避開「三高地雷」中元普渡的供桌上常見的「三高地雷」包括罐頭(高鈉)、甜飲料(高糖)和油炸物(高油),這些食物對慢性病患者尤其不利。鄭文琦醫師指出,罐頭魚與肉製品一小罐就可能含有超過一天的鈉建議攝取量,而油炸零食、香腸和貢丸的油脂和鈉含量都很高。對於糖尿病、高血壓、腎臟病與痛風患者,建議選擇低加工、低鹽、低糖的天然祭品,如新鮮水果、無糖茶、蒸煮的米食或地瓜、南瓜、山藥等原型食物。 控制份量:避免腸胃不適中元節後,醫院常見血糖大幅提升的糖尿病患者和痛風急性發作的案例。有民眾在普渡後將剩菜混為一鍋「中元大雜燴」,一次吃下高油高鹽食物,導致腸胃不適。鄭文琦醫師建議,將祭品分餐控制份量,按照平日飲食順序,先吃蔬菜再吃主食與肉類,避免一次性攝取過量。慢性病患者如腎臟病要留意蛋白質與磷鉀,糖尿病患者要避開醬汁與油脂,痛風者更應少碰海鮮與內臟類。 適量香火:環保祭拜更健康傳統的燒香與燒金紙儀式會產生PM2.5和VOCs,對氣喘、慢性肺病、心血管疾病與過敏體質者可能造成呼吸道刺激。鄭文琦醫師指出,有氣喘患者在廟裡拜拜時因煙霧迷漫而出現咳嗽、胸悶等症狀。為降低潛在風險,建議選擇環保香、環保金紙,或減量焚燒,改以合掌、手拜等方式誠心祈福。這不僅減少煙霧對環境與身體的負擔,也展現現代人對永續信仰的新詮釋。鄭文琦醫師呼籲,中元節除了敬神祭祖,也要守護自己的健康與家人安全。掌握「四大健康原則」──注意保存、慎選食物、控制份量與適量香火,就能讓這份慎終追遠的美意,化為身心無虞的平安祝福,讓自己和家人平安過節。▲ 鄭文琦醫師呼籲,中元節請掌握「四大健康原則」。(圖/恩主公醫院)
