長輩吃糯米製品注意!掌握細嚼慢嚥原則 遠離消化不良
【NOW健康 辰蘊如/台北報導】湯圓是許多家庭團聚時的應景美食,但每年都有不少年長者因食用過量導致腸胃不適而送醫。台安醫院胃腸肝膽科暨成人體管理葉秉威醫師表示,糯米製品不易消化,根據衛福部國民健康署資料,四顆包餡大湯圓的熱量就相當於一碗白飯,若再搭配甜湯,熱量更是驚人。建議長者淺嚐即止、細嚼慢嚥,享受團圓氛圍的同時也要兼顧腸胃健康。糖尿病與腎臟病患者 謹慎食用「糯米製品」葉秉威醫師指出湯圓的主要成分糯米含有較多支鏈澱粉,升糖指數較高,血糖容易在短時間內快速上升。對於糖尿病患者來說,若當天食用湯圓,應將正餐白飯減量至半碗,並控制湯圓攝取量在兩顆以內。建議糖尿病患者可選擇鹹湯圓取代甜湯圓當正餐,搭配大量綠色蔬菜如茼蒿,讓營養更均衡。腎臟病患者則需要特別注意湯圓內餡的磷含量問題。葉秉威醫師強調,腎友每日磷攝取量應低於1000毫克,若食用含餡湯圆,一天以兩顆為限,且不得連續食用超過兩天,建議優先選擇純糯米製成的無餡小湯圓。長輩咀嚼退化易致阻塞 飲食遵守兩大原則高齡者因咀嚼能力退化與消化功能減弱,食用湯圓時容易發生危險。而糯米製品黏性強且不易消化,過去常有老人家因吃太多或太快導致腸道阻塞送醫的案例。葉秉威醫師提醒年長者一次食用一至兩顆湯圓即可,務必將湯圓切成小塊並細嚼慢嚥。對於本身患有胃食道逆流或腸胃功能較弱的民眾,也應避免一次攝取大量糯米製品,因為較難消化加上甜湯易加重腸胃負擔,容易出現腹脹與消化不良。此外,吃完湯圓後別忘了與家人散步消耗熱量,以每小時5公里速度快走,一般而言吃一顆芝麻湯圓需走20至30分鐘才能消耗熱量,讓團圓也能兼顧健康。# 首圖來源/Freepik更多NOW健康報導▸冬季好發泌尿疾病!男女大不同 醫提醒預防黃金三原則▸早上腰部僵硬、無法後仰! 下背「鈍痛」恐小面關節症候群NOW健康:FB │ IG │ Threads │ YT │ 官方LINE │ 醫級邦 │ 健康安妞 Podcast❤溫馨提醒:歡迎轉傳「原始文章連結」分享,未經授權,請勿複製圖文轉貼本文。
