減重第一步就是好好睡覺!醫:每日睡足7小時最理想 否則恐怕先減掉「肌肉」

減重除了要調整飲食、規律運動,其實充足的睡眠也至關重要。對此,嘉義基督教醫院家醫科醫師安欣瑜表示,睡眠時間較短的人,容易出現食慾增加、渴望高油糖食物、想吃消夜、肌肉量減少、久坐不動的情況,因此減重第一步就是好好睡覺,每日睡足7個小時最為理想。

安欣瑜在臉書粉專《安欣瑜醫師》發文指出,一篇發表於2023年的研究顯示,每天睡不到5~6小時的人,可能會因控制食慾的關鍵荷爾蒙飢餓素增加、瘦素減少,導致食慾增加,加上睡不好會活化大腦控制飢餓感及食物選擇的區域,吃東西所帶來的愉悅感會更加強烈,使人更想吃一些高碳水、高油及高糖的食物。

安欣瑜提醒,睡太少時,會更容易讓人想吃宵夜,而且食物產熱的效益會減少,即消化食物所耗費的能量較低,恐導致體重上升。

安欣瑜強調,若想透過減少熱量攝取來減重,卻又睡眠不足的話,容易先減掉肌肉,而非脂肪,而且在一些中年人的身上發現,若前一天睡眠不足,白天會比較不想動,進而增加久坐不動的行為,減少熱量的消耗,建議每日睡足7個小時,才能確保有效減重。
