怕過年變壓力鍋?臺北醫院揭「恐年族」三大自保心法

(記者陳志仁/新北報導)農曆年節將至,當多數民眾期待返鄉團聚、放鬆休息時,精神科門診卻出現一群「恐年族」;衛生福利部臺北醫院精神科醫師黃國洋指出,近期因擔心長時間與家人相處而出現焦慮、失眠的個案明顯增加,甚至有人提出希望「過年期間住院」,只為合理避開家庭聚會帶來的心理壓力。

黃國洋醫師表示,年節壓力並非華人社會獨有,國外研究發現,耶誕節至新年假期期間,超過三分之一民眾曾感受到家庭或人際互動帶來的心理負擔,壓力多源自家人的關心;尤其是長輩對晚輩工作、收入、感情與人生規劃的頻繁詢問,讓一頓年夜飯彷彿成了年度檢討會。

隨著現代生活型態改變,許多人平日忙於工作,甚至跨縣市生活,與家人面對面相處的時間有限,年節連假反而成為高度密集互動的時刻;黃國洋醫師分析,正因平時少見面,長輩往往想在過年「一次問清楚」,這種補償式的關心,容易讓後輩產生被比較、被審視的壓迫感,使原本應該放鬆的假期變成心理戰場。

「團聚的本質是聯絡感情,而不是互相施壓!」黃國洋醫師提醒,當關心成為壓力來源,不僅無法拉近距離,反而可能傷害關係,他也提出三項實用建議,協助民眾度過壓力較高的年節時光:第一,事先設定心理界線,面對敏感話題以幽默或禮貌方式回應;第二,提前完成工作與家務,避免身心雙重超載;第三,刻意安排屬於自己的「Me Time」,即使短暫獨處,也有助情緒修復。

黃國洋醫師強調,過年本是休息與自我修復的重要時刻,透過界線設定與自我照顧,每個人都能在熱鬧氣氛中保有心理平靜,讓年節回歸溫馨與放鬆的初衷。
