她「不吃早餐精神好」卻狂被同事唸!醫見地雷:一早就讓血糖衝高

你有吃早餐的習慣嗎?一名30歲女子近日因「要不要吃早餐」感到非常困擾,她向醫師坦言,自己平時不吃早餐反而精神很好,卻常被同事碎念「不吃不健康」,讓她壓力爆大。對此,家醫科醫師李思賢指出,其實不用過度擔心,並引述研究強調:「吃什麼」永遠比「什麼時候吃」更重要。

李思賢醫師在粉專分享該則門診案例,這名女患者因為不吃早餐頻頻被同事關心,但她觀察發現,同事口中所謂的健康早餐,多半是早餐店常見的三明治、漢堡、蛋餅或燒餅。醫師直言:「其實不用擔心,也不必因為這件事感到壓力。」

李思賢醫師從科學角度分析,生理時鐘確實會影響代謝。他引述2022年發表於《Journal of Diabetes Investigation》的研究,透過「鉗夾實驗」發現,早上8點的胰島素敏感度確實比晚上8點高出將近33%。若單純從身體節律來看,「早餐+午餐」的組合確實優於「午餐+晚餐」。

「但這裡有一個很重要的前提:你的早餐吃什麼?」李思賢醫師表示,台灣早餐店的主流項目,清一色幾乎都是精緻澱粉的加工食品。他舉例,漢堡排內不全是肉,而是含有許多添加物;蛋餅除了蛋以外,餅皮也佔了很大比例,這類飲食反而是一大早就讓血糖衝高一波。

不吃早餐真的沒關係嗎?李思賢醫師再引述2024年《Diabetes and Metabolism Research and Reviews》的回顧研究指出,早餐的品質才是最重要的,而非吃與不吃。研究顯示,低營養密度的早餐在代謝表現上,其實並不優於空腹狀態。

最後,李思賢醫師給予該名女患者建議:如果你選擇不吃早餐,但午餐和晚餐都吃得很健康,真的不需要為此感到困擾。他提醒大眾,與其糾結進食時間,不如回歸本質:「吃什麼」永遠比「什麼時候吃」更重要。
